Use gloves to protect your hands during installation:
Step 1: Winch and Pull About 5cm of Cable
Step 2: Connect the two halves of the split body together, place the cable or rope between the two halves, insert the four bolts and tighten so that the two parts are connected together
Step 3: Reattach the hook to the end of the cable, retract the hook, engage the clutch and retract the cable onto the winch spool until the hook is snug against the hook plug and fairlead
Step 4: Position the hitch stop at about 3/4 of the total pitch when using the winch
